It also alerts you when a door is left open, when the fridge or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter. It is nice if GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill, an option that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to set the amount of cups they wish to dispense. It also has a countdown on the fridge display to display how much water have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise fill. Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator Created to appear like a seamless part of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also boasts a veggie compartment to keep vegetables and fruits fresher for longer and has dual compressors for the best preservation of food. The ice maker is one of the top we've tested and produces a pyramid-shaped ice that is low in water usage. This fridge is the perfect choice for single household or kitchenettes that want a built-in look and top of the line food preservation. This refrigerator was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, never changing by more than a fraction an inch. This is essential to avoiding freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the refrigerator also did well. It reached the temperature it was set within an hour, and remained at the temperature throughout our testing. Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. You can manage the temperature, lighting, and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's an easy way to monitor your fridge and manage it, particularly when you're not at home. The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't improve the performance of the fridge. In fact it took longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge than other refrigerators we tried. This could be due to the larger capacity. The doors are another problem with this fridge. The sunken handles let shorter people open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a difficult time closing them without slamming. It would have been better if they had front-mounted handles. The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those looking to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with an efficient design. It has a capacity that is above average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a little less than the top counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it an attractive choice. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator If you're looking for an French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a basic design that's not as visually striking as some of the competition, but it has enough features that make it a great choice. This is a pretty good performance however it doesn't rank among the best in our ratings. You can also connect this fridge to a smart thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's temperature. The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is constructed of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body with a “smudge-proof” finish.
